The Christine’s Christmas Board is comprised of community leaders passionate about using their skills to proactively further our mission.

Donna Glanzman

Donna Glanzman is one of the founding members of the Christine’s Christmas Board and has served as the Board Chair for 8 years. As the Founder & President of DHG Communications, Donna has extensive experience in Media and Public Relations, logistics, script writing and sponsor solicitations. Her many leadership roles in the community and accomplishments include: Make-A-Wish Woman of the Year; 2007 Merry Go Round Chair; National Kappa Delta “Awe Inspiring Women Over 50”; PR Chair for Childhood League, Homeless Families Foundation & Women’s Board of Columbus Museum of Art; spokesperson for Humana Artificial Heart Implantation project; 2006 Mrs. Ohio United States; President Columbus Women’s District Golf Association. Donna is committed to growing the reach of Christine’s Christmas for years to come, stating that it is “a pathway to raising a lot of money for worthwhile charities that benefit children!”…read more

Dana Beatty

This is Dana Beatty’s sixth year on the Christine’s Christmas board. Dana’s career has been primarily spent in the Information Technology industry. She has worked at IBM as a senior global sales executive and director with management leadership responsibility for IBM’s most strategic clients. Dana has been selected to speak at multiple national IBM leadership conferences to share best practices on how to build high performing teams and optimize client value. Her latest assignment was to play a major role initiated by the CEO and Chairman to lead the creation and execution of IBM’s global competitive sales strategy. Dana recently joined KPMG LLC as an Account Relationship Director with leadership responsibility for Public Sector clients. Dana has been a member of Junior League of Cincinnati and Columbus, a board member of Columbus Children’s Choir and is currently part of the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women ‘Circle of Red’ team. To be part of Christine’s Christmas is an honor and a gift. Megan Fanning

Megan is one of the newest members to join the Christine’s Christmas Board. After spending ten years as a middle school classroom educator, in 2014 she tapped into her passion for her community and began her journey in fundraising. She most recently started a new role as Associate Director of Principal Gifts Operations for The Ohio State University Foundation. Previously she worked in donor relations, stewardship and event planning for The Ohio State University College of Engineering. Megan met Christine her freshman year at Ohio University. She and Christine were both education majors, were in the same sorority recruitment class and ultimately joined Alpha Gamma Delta together. They both shared a common interest in caring about kids and their education. In Megan’s words, “I continue to be inspired by Christine and her passion and am honored to be part of Christine’s Christmas to carry on her legacy.”…read more

Mark King

Mark King is one of the founding members of the Christine’s Christmas Board and has served consistently since it began in 2004. In addition to being an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and the Residency Program Director at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Mark is also an accomplished pianist. After Christine’s passing, Mark found solace at the piano. As he played, he realized that if the music could help him through this intensely dark time, perhaps it could helps others, as well. This thought was the beginning of Christine’s Christmas. Mark’s devotion to the Christine’s Christmas mission has earned him several community awards throughout the years, including the Service Above Self Award from the Columbus Downtown Rotary, and the Judges Award from the Central Ohio Chapter of The Association of Fundraising Professionals.…read more

Jennifer Kontomerkos

Jennifer Kontomerkos has served as both the Silent Auction Chair and the Event Reception Chair on the Christine’s Christmas Board for 4 years. In 2017, Jennifer will lead the Board’s new initiative called “Christine’s Wish Kids” in which she will work directly with Make A Wish to identify special children who will become “Christine’s Wish Kids”. She has owned her own company, The Finer Things Event Planning, for 8 years, and in that time her work has been featured on both the local and national levels. She has been chosen as a four-time Best of Weddings winner and was inducted into The Knot Hall of Fame in 2016. Jennifer also received the Couple’s Choice Award four times with Wedding Wire. In addition to her career accomplishments, Jennifer also takes pride in her community involvement. As a wish granter with the non-profit organization Wish Upon a Wedding, Jennifer sourced and produced a wedding for an Ohio couple facing a life-altering illness. Of her time on the Christine’s Christmas Board, Jennifer shared, “I have come to see first hand the true meaning of celebrating the life and legacy of Christine Wilson. It is my mission that we honor her name by helping others the way she would want us to. To show that love for children and compassion for others… in creating an event that is a celebration of life.”…read more

Dan Lehmann

Dan Lehmann has been a member of the Christine’s Christmas Board for 5 years, during which time he has served on the sponsorship sub-committee to help secure local event supporters. An Associate for Sentz Financial Services, Dan first became involved with Christine’s Christmas through his wife, who was one of Christine’s closest friends.

Brent Pastorek

Brent Pastorek is a Manager with BDO in their Audit and Assurance practice. He has more than seven years of experience providing assurance services to organizations of varying sizes and across multiple industries, including manufacturing and distribution, retail, restaurants, and nonprofit organizations. Brent is married to Elizabeth Pastorek (Wilson), Christine’s sister. He never had the opportunity to meet Christine, but has had the privilege to be inspired by Christine’s Christmas since 2005. Bradley K. Rechel, SPHR

Brad Rechel, SPHR has been a member of the Christine’s Christmas board for 3 years. While he currently holds the position of Team Manager, Human Resources & Engagement at Honda North America, Inc, Brad also has an impressive history with the company. He joined the North American Purchasing Division of Honda of America Mfg., Inc., in March 2000. After two years in strategic planning in the Planning & Administration Group, where he developed and managed the supplier “Early Warning System” (for which he received a patent), Brad moved to the Supplier Support Team in January 2002 and was responsible for Honda’s North American supplier “Circle Assistance Network” (CAN). In 2009, Brad moved within the NAT Division to the Supplier Development Team, where he conducted supplier performance audits of key strategic parts suppliers throughout North America and served as an in-house consultant to those suppliers to improve supplier performance characteristics in Management and Human Resources. In 2013, Brad returned to the Supplier Support Team as it merged into Honda North America, Inc., where he leads OEM supplier HR leader networks in the US, Mexico, and Canada. In this capacity, Brad also supports labor relations at all Honda North American manufacturing sites. Prior to joining Honda, Brad spent 18 years starting-up and managing two transplant Honda supplier companies in Ohio, and three years in the State of Ohio Development Department International Trade Division, where he worked to attract Japanese companies to the state of Ohio and assist Ohio companies exporting to Japan and China. Mr. Rechel has a BA in East Asian Studies and Economics from Wittenberg University and has done graduate work at the Capital University Law School and The Ohio State University. James Rieser (Jim)

James (Jim) Rieser is the VP US Sales at Hunter & Lords. He has served on the Christine’s Christmas Board since the beginning of the concert in 2004. As Sponsorship Chairman, Jim has set the standard for building community support and ensuring continued growth for our special charities. Christine’s Christmas, he says, is a way to keep Christine’s memory alive while also benefiting the community.

Tonya Southwick

A new member of Christine’s Christmas Board, Tonya serves as Board Secretary. She has had a lifelong passion and commitment to helping children. Losing her second child to medical complications caused by congenital heart defects heightened her desire to offer her hand to hurting families, and as a result she authored and Illustrated a first response book for sibling grief, “Sad about Sammy.” She currently volunteers for Nationwide Children’s Hospital, and Sozo Children, a Ugandan orphanage. In Tonya’s words, “I feel honored to be part of this dedicated Board, and to join in efforts to deliver hope and healing to children, and to continue the legacy of Christine Wilson.”…read more
