Dana Beatty

Dana Beatty has served on Christine’s Christmas board since 2011. Dana’s career has been primarily spent in the Information Technology industry. She has worked at IBM as a senior global sales executive and director with management leadership responsibility for IBM’s largest strategic clients. Dana joined KPMG LLC in 2016 as a Senior Relationship Director with management leadership responsibility for Public Sector clients. Dana has been a member of the Junior League of Cincinnati and Columbus, a board member of Columbus Children’s Choir, and a member of the American Heart Association, Go Red for Women ‘Circle of Red’ team. To be part of Christine’s Christmas is an honor and a gift. Dana is passionately committed to continuing the legacy of Christine’s beautiful spirit of compassion for others and her love of helping children.

Megan Fanning

Megan joined Christine’s Christmas Board in 2018. After spending ten years as a middle school classroom educator, in 2014 she tapped into her passion for her community and began her journey in fundraising. She currently serves as the Associate Director of Principal Gifts Operations for The Ohio State University Foundation. Megan met Christine her freshman year at Ohio University. She and Christine were both education majors, were in the same sorority recruitment class, and ultimately joined Alpha Gamma Delta together. They shared a dream to improve kids’ lives through education. In Megan’s words, “I continue to be inspired by Christine and her passion and am honored to be part of Christine’s Christmas to carry on her legacy.”

Donna Glanzman

Donna Glanzman is one of the founding members of Christine’s Christmas Board and has served as the Board Chair since 2008. As the Founder & President of DHG Communications, Donna has extensive experience in Media and Public Relations, fundraising, public speaking, and strategic planning. Her many leadership roles in the community and accomplishments include Make-A-Wish Woman of the Year; 2007 Merry Go Round Chair; National Kappa Delta “Awe Inspiring Women Over 50”; PR Chair for Childhood League, Homeless Families Foundation & Women’s Board of Columbus Museum of Art; a spokesperson for Humana Artificial Heart Implantation project; 2006 Mrs. Ohio United States; President Columbus Women’s District Golf Association. Donna is committed to growing the reach of Christine’s Christmas for years to come, stating that it is “a pathway to extensive financial support for worthwhile children’s charities!”

 

CHRISTINE HOYER

Christine Hoyer, Chief Development Officer at Special Olympics Ohio, has more than 12 years of experience in major gift fundraising. She has spent her professional career supporting youth and adults in the disability space and children with life-threatening medical conditions. She is committed to connecting passionate people to opportunities to make a local impact on individuals and their families. 

Christine prides herself on her passion for creating an inclusive environment for all to build character, confidence, and inner strength through sports. She is honored to represent the athletes, families, coaches, volunteers, and team of Special Olympics Ohio and is thrilled to be a part of the Board of Christine’s Christmas. 

  • Hoyer has more than 12 years of experience in major gift fundraising. She has spent her professional career supporting youth and adults in the disability space and children with life-threatening medical conditions. She is committed to connecting passionate people to opportunities to make a local impact on individuals and their families.

    During her fundraising career, she has successfully executed million-dollar campaigns, formal events, and community activities. She has extensive experience growing boards into bigger, bolder strategic thought partners. She prides herself in her experience leading and creating programs that directly connect donors to individuals and mission for impact.

    Hoyer first saw the impact of philanthropy during her 20-year executive career with Macy’s Inc., where she had opportunities to lead the Partners In Time employee volunteerism initiative and drove the Shop for a Cause cause-marketing campaign in Columbus and Dayton markets.

    Beyond the role at Special Olympics Ohio, she held the position of Director of Major Gifts for the largest chapter of the national organization, Make-A-Wish America. She also served as a lead volunteer for The Childhood League, The Bexley Education Foundation, and Flying Horse Farms.

    Christine prides herself on her passion for creating an inclusive environment for all to build character, confidence, and inner strength through sports. She is honored to represent the athletes, families, coaches, volunteers, and team of Special Olympics Ohio and is thrilled to be a part of the Board of Christine’s Christmas.

    Hoyer is an athlete and avid runner who has completed seven marathons including the Boston, NYC, and Chicago.

Mark King

Mark King is one of the founding members of the Christine’s Christmas Board and has served consistently since it began in 2004. In addition to being an Associate Professor in the Department of Radiology and the Residency Program Director at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, Mark is also an accomplished pianist. After Christine’s passing, Mark found solace at the piano. As he played, he realized that if the music could help him through this intensely dark time, perhaps it could helps others, as well. This thought was the beginning of Christine’s Christmas. Mark’s devotion to the Christine’s Christmas mission has earned him several community awards throughout the years, including the Service Above Self Award from the Columbus Downtown Rotary, and the Judges Award from the Central Ohio Chapter of The Association of Fundraising Professionals.

 
 
 

Dan Lehmann

Dan Lehmann has been a member of the Christine’s Christmas Board for 11 years, during which time he has served on multiple sub-committees to help secure local event supporters. An Advisor with Arlington Capital Group, Dan first became involved with Christine’s Christmas through his wife, who was one of Christine’s closest friends.

 
 
 

Brent Pastorek

Brent Pastorek is Vice President of Finance at CUSITech, a leading national onsite implementation services company including low voltage, electrical and hardware installations. He is married to Elizabeth Pastorek (Wilson), Christine’s sister, and has served on the Christine's Christmas Board since 2016. Brent never had the opportunity to meet Christine but has had the privilege to be inspired by Christine’s Christmas since 2005 - his first year attending the event.

James (Jim) RieseR

James (Jim) Rieser is the VP US Sales at Hunter & Lords. He has served on the Christine’s Christmas Board since the beginning of the concert in 2004. As Sponsorship Chairman, Jim has set the standard for building community support and ensuring continued growth for our special charities. Christine’s Christmas, he says, is a way to keep Christine’s memory alive while also benefiting the community.

 
 
 

Tonya SouthwicK

Tonya Southwick joined Christine’s Christmas in 2016, bringing with her a lifelong passion and commitment for helping vulnerable children. Losing her second child, Stephanie, due to congenital heart defects heightened her desire to offer her hand to hurting families, and as The Southwick Press, she publishes comforting books for children and families. The proud mom of three surviving children and therapy dog Lucy, Tonya volunteers for Nationwide Children’s Hospital and Sozo Children, a children’s home in Uganda. In Tonya’s words, “I feel honored to be part of this dedicated Board, to join in efforts to deliver help, hope, and healing to children, and to continue the legacy of Christine Wilson.”

Tim Wilson

Tim is the Director of Sales Operations at locally based T. Marzetti Company and has spent over 44 years with Consumer Packaged Goods companies including Coca-Cola, Ocean Spray, Borden & Scotts Miracle-Gro.

He resides in Jerome Village now with his wife of 43 years (Pam). They are proud to call Christine their daughter along with their two other children, Elizabeth and Patrick. Tim and Pam started the Christine Wilson Foundation in 2003 and Tim has focused his time on various fundraising and giving initiatives to children’s charities in Central Ohio. Tim also coaches in Dublin’s Miracle League which has a special place in his heart.

Tim joined Christine’s Christmas Board in 2019 to become more involved from the inside with this fabulous event. Tim plans to retire from his professional life in April 2023 and will spend even more time volunteering and helping local children’s charities.
