This solo piano recording by Dr. Mark King is in memory of his dear friend and neighbor, Christine Wilson, who tragically lost her life in an arson fire at the age of nineteen. From Mark, “I had the idea for this recording while I was thinking about the gifts that Christine gave us…I wanted to create a tribute to Christine that would always remind me, and hopefully you as well, of the gifts we receive from God…In part, Christmas is really about giving and receiving gifts: not necessarily just material things, but also spiritual. Christmas means more to me today than it did before April 2003: for me, this really is Christine’s Christmas.”

This recording began what became a nineteen-year journey through which Christine’s Christmas concert events raised more than 1.6 million dollars for Central Ohio children’s charities through the Christine Wilson Foundation.
